The Predator was another design that I tried and settled on pretty quickly - the flak cannon look was very literal but conveyed pretty well what it did in-game, even though for the most part we tried to keep missiles as anti-air weapons and guns as anti-ground.
This was also the first model we tried out alternate color scheme specific textures on, and our tech artist did a fantastic job setting up the different versions (and creating the whole model for this guy - https://www.artstation.com/artwork/x3xOxm)
It really popped in-game when you swapped army colors getting different patterns on top of just changing the color scheme.
