Scholomance Academy was the first expansion I worked on after joining the Hearthstone team officially, and the first style guide I contributed for. Designing the environments for all of the Dual-class 'classrooms' was a really interesting task, trying to keep the architecture of the building recognisable while bringing life back to it instead of as a necromantic dungeon. Also then bringing in elements of all of the hero classes - and I was really glad to see once we got the final art starting to come back how well this carried through into the art across the set.
I also always love designing logos and symbols, and I created the set logo as well as coming up with a crest for the school and for Kel Thuzad's sneaky cult that were new but still worked with the elements that already exist in WoW was also a fun challenge.
