Before we had settled on a direction for our Ace designs
From very early on we decided that because you were an Ace being sent around the Solar System to engage in battles, you needed to be doing it from somewhere comfortable.
Your 'Ace Cruiser' would contain the Core you dropped to the battlefield in, and included a comfortable command chair and as many consoles you could need! This development started off as blue sky worldbuilding, but once we started working with The Line we needed to define what exactly that control center looked like.
